In these Terms and Conditions, the terms ‘you’ or ‘user’ are interchangeably used for the ‘DivineCovenant.in member’ – which also includes persons such as father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, relative or friend (Registrant) of the prospective bride or groom.
Do not continue to use Divine Covenant if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Scope
DivineCovenant.in acts as a platform to enable any user to register on it (by filling the mandatory fields and optional fields, if any) to voluntarily search for profile(s) from the database of registered users of DivineCovenant.in for seeking lawful matrimonial alliances for themselves or their family members. All the profiles within the database are classified broadly on the basis of sect, language or region for the ease and convenience of the registered users of DivineCovenant.in
Registered users are provided free access to search profiles from the DivineCovenant.in database as per the partner preferences set by them on the Website and they can shortlist the profiles in which they are interested.
Acceptance of Terms
By using the DivineCovenant.in website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing these. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use our service.
Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the DivineCovenant.in website and services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes.
Eligibility
Membership of DivineCovenant.in and rights of admission are reserved for:
- Catholics in India
- Catholics of Indian origin who are Non-Resident Indians
- Catholics of Indian descent or Indian heritage
Further as a member of DivineCovenant.in you confirm that you are:
- 18 years or above (if you are a woman) or 21 years or above (if you are a man)
- If you are a resident of any other country, you are legally competent to marry as per the local rules applicable to your country and you shall comply with the Indian laws for marrying a person of Indian origin
If you are a registrant of the prospective bride/groom and have created a profile on DivineCovenant.in on behalf of them or are accessing the DivineCovenant.in website on behalf of them implies that you have taken their consent for creating their profile on DivineCovenant.in or accessing this website.
Registration
(a) In order to use our service, you may be required to register and provide certain information, including a valid email address, password, and username.
(b) You are expected to complete the online registration process with honesty by furnishing true, accurate, current and complete information with recent photographs of you/the prospective ‘bride’ or ‘groom’ which will help meet the parameters. If at any point in time, DivineCovenant.in comes to know or is informed that any information provided by you during registration (including photographs) or otherwise is found to be untrue or inaccurate, DivineCovenant.in will have the full rights to suspend or terminate (without any notice) your DivineCovenant.in membership, and refuse to provide any further service to you thereafter.
(c) Registration of duplicate profiles of the same person is not allowed on the DivineCovenant.in website. DivineCovenant.in shall have the full rights to terminate (without any notice) such duplicate profiles.
(d) You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. DivineCovenant.in as an organization do not ask for Passwords and you are cautioned to not share your passwords with any person. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
(d) You must notify DivineCovenant.in immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
(e) You acknowledge and confirm that your registration with DivineCovenant.in and usage of its services is with the bonafide intention of marriage and not otherwise.
Membership and Donation
(a) Donation, once paid, are non-refundable.
(b) DivineCovenant.in reserves the right to change for access to change certain features or services.
(c) Profiles, will be activated only after confirmation of the provided details.
Profile Management
(a) Profile details, including date of birth and educational qualifications, must be verified and confirmed by the candidate and their parents.
(b) You are required to verify and confirm the credentials of the prospect/candidate, and exercise due care and caution regarding their profile information which includes marital status, educational qualifications, financial status, occupation, character, health status, etc. before making a choice.
(c) DivineCovenant.in will not be liable for any shortcomings due to any misrepresentation made by any of its members.
(d) All profiles will be deactivated or deleted after a certain period or upon confirmation of marriage.
(e) Members are advised to avoid:
- Entering into any financial transactions with or seeking financial help or favors from the prospects/candidates/members of DivineCovenant.in
- Sharing any confidential and personal data with the prospects/candidates/members of DivineCovenant.in
- Being discriminatory or abusive with the prospects/candidates/members of DivineCovenant.in
Content Guidelines
(a) Users are responsible for the content they post on DivineCovenant.in.
(b) Prohibited content includes illegal, offensive, misleading, or infringing material.
(c) Users must respect the privacy and dignity of others and refrain from engaging in bullying or spamming activities.
Termination
(a) DivineCovenant.in reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership without refund for any violation of these Terms and Conditions.
(b) Duplicate profiles are not allowed, and multiple profiles may be deactivated without refund.
(c) Any unethical behaviour or misconduct may result in immediate termination of your profile.
Privacy and Security
(a) Users acknowledge that privacy of information provided online cannot be guaranteed.
(b) DivineCovenant.in is not liable for any unauthorized access to user data or communications.
(c) Users must use caution when sharing personal information with others on the platform.
Disputes between Members
DivineCovenant.in members are solely responsible for the communications (through any medium) with the prospects/other members and vice versa. DivineCovenant.in expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any monetary transaction(s) or exchange(s) or interaction(s) or passing of information, etc. between any DivineCovenant.in members across any platform or medium of communication
DivineCovenant.in has no obligation to monitor any such disputes arising between DivineCovenant.in members and DivieCovenant.in will not be party to any such dispute/litigation, etc.
Intellectual Property
(a) DivineCovenant.in retains all proprietary rights to its website and services.
(b) Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on DivineCovenant.in without prior written permission.
(c) Users may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from DivineCovenant.in.
Limitation of Liability
(a) DivineCovenant.in is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services.
(b) Users agree to indemnify and hold DivineCovenant.in harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses resulting from their use of the service.
Governing Law and Disputes
(a) These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
(b) Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the District Court.
